Wet Feet Farm Tour & Article

We recently collaborated with the Snohomish County Conservation District on an article about and tour of our “wet feet” food forest. This is a low area of the land where we have planted an alley cropping system as an experiment to see if agroforestry practices can help grow high-value crops even in soggy conditions. More than 45 people attended the tour to learn about crops and practices that are a great match for this type of area!

P.S. A huge shout-out to Rooted member Diane for taking the agroforestry area, and especially the willow patch, under her caring wing. Thank you for being generous with your time, skills and knowledge.
