The girls are happy with school and enjoy it.

Three of their teachers are from Arlington and attended the local public schools themselves, which tells us they are committed to the area.

There are four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools (one of which is an alternative learning program) in the public school system, and there are private schools as well.Ā Ā

We love Taj Grill ā€˜n Spice! Went in there not expecting much and were delighted to find the food wasĀ delicious and the family that owns and runs it very friendly.Ā We’veĀ been back several times.

Also, check out the Tacos La Mas Fregona food truck just off Olympic across from Arlington Hardware -- tasty Oaxacan fare!

I love the Mirkwood!Ā  Good food, good drinks, good music.Ā  All ages, except in the bar.Ā  The Mirkwood hosts performances by teens from the School of Rock, drag shows, and other artists.Ā  It's a tattoo-ey, woowoo-ey kind of place, a nice pocket of diversity in the middle of Arlington.

(Chan)Suda Thai has become one of our go-to restaurants. Every dish we've tried has proven to be comfort-food delicious.Ā  The ingredients are fresh and the recipes hit the nail on the head.

Silvana Meats processed the pork I ordered from a local farm. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job packaging my pork cuts for the freezer.

Clover Coffee makes the perfect white chocolate mocha. I hear their other coffee drinks are great, too. I love that they sell locally made items that make great gifts!
