What a Fabulous Farm-to-Table Dinner!

On August 19 we hosted almost 50 guests for an evening of good food and community in celebration of regenerative agriculture. We toured the farms and then sat down to a delicious, multi-course dinner crafted by chef Kerri Cacciata and highlighting produce and herbs from our very own Reconnecting Roots and River Raven Herbs farms. We also enjoyed wine from the local Bertelsen Winery and indulged in a duck egg olive oil cake with eggs from Rooted member Carla's flock of ducks.

This was the first farm-to-table dinner hosted by Rooted Northwest Farms, which supports the collective of farm enterprises springing to life on our community’s 240 acres outside of Arlington, Washington. The funds from this dinner will support shared farming essentials such as irrigation and tractor maintenance.
